danniel monroy is a dancer, teacher and choreographer raised in Mexico and now living in Southern California. They have nearly ten years of professional dance experience and have choreographed over twenty dance projects including nine stage productions, thirteen dance films and several performances in bars and clubs in the Los Angeles and Long Beach area. danniel monroy graduated Summa Cum Laude from UC Riverside in 2021 with a BA in dance and a concentration in dance making and was awarded the GLUCK fellowship while in UC Riverside. danniel later obtain their MFA in dance at the University of California Irvine, where they have also gained vast experience in teaching people of diverse backgrounds and ages.

danniel’s teaching experience includes Latin Social dance such as Salsa, Bachata, Cha-cha, Cumbia and merengue as well as dance history, dance making and Contemporary American Art (1960-2001).

danniel has worked closely and developed projects with several renowned choreographers and musicians such as Heidi Duckler, Lisa Naugle, John Crawford, Lisa Yoshida, Alan Terriccioano, Luis Lara Malvacias, Branson J Showman, Steve Rosa, amongst others. danniel is committed to inclusivity and diversity in dance.
